DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0100Z January 15, 2006

Texas:
A fire in southeast Atascosa county produced a plume of dense smoke that
extended northward to southern Bexar County. Another fire in southern
Goliad County produced a plume of dense smoke that extended northward
to SE Karnes County. A fire in eastern Refugio produced a plume of dense
smoke over the northeastern portion of the County.

Louisiana:
Two narrow plumes of thin smoke extended to the south from fires in
southern Vermilion and southern St. Mary County.

Florida:
Plumes of thin smoke stretched eastward from fires in SE Martin and W
Palm Beach County.
