DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Oregon: A fire in northern Douglas County has resulted in a smoke plume that has veered from north to east over time. Remnant smoke from a blaze in nearby Coos County has moved east into Douglas County. A narrow plume was detected moving north from a fire in Lincoln County. Arizona: Fires in Lapaz and Gila counties are generating smoke plumes that are moving southwest. Colorado: A narrow plume extends to near the CO-OK-KS border from a blaze in Bent County. Northern Baja: Two fires have resulted in a moderately dense area of smoke that extended into the Pacific.
