DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0100Z February 22, 2006

Florida:
Fires in southeastern Levy and central Marion County caused a plume
of thin smoke that extended eastward to northern Volusia County. Fire
in northern Brevard county produced a narrow plume of thin smoke that
extended eastward over the Atlantic Ocean.

California:
Numerous fires in Glenn an Colusa County in northern California produced
thin smoke that drifted southward over western Sutter and Yolo County.

Oregon:
A large fire in northern Coos County in SW Oregon produced a plume of
dense smoke that stretched to the southwest over NW Curry County then
to the Pacific.
