DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 2345Z APRIL 03, 2006.

Florida:
A fire along the Kissimmee R near on the eastern side of Avon Park Air
Force Range is producing moderately dense smoke that extends due E 44km
to near Yeehaw Junction along the Indian River/Osceola county line. The
plume is about 20km wide.

Texas/Oklahoma/Kansas/Arkansas:
Even though high cirrus is obscuring most of the smoke in
Texas/Oklahoma/Kansas/Arkansas tonight.  Two fires in E TX can still
be seen.
TX:
The first near Norwood or Macune in San Augustine county is producing
a fan of dense smoke that extends due S 104km to Hardin county, SE 84km
to S Newton county and ESE 60km to N Newton county.
The smoke from the second fire is more difficult to discern...it is
located near the Houston/Cherokee county line near Easley Chapel and
Brunswick. The smoke is also fanned out, extending SSW 60km, S 66km and
SSE 59km to around Trinity county.
AR:
A fire along the Crawford/Franklin county line near the towns of Bidville
and Fern is producing dense smoke that extends SSE more than 115km to
the Garland and Yell county lines and is about 25km wide.

North Dakota/Montana:
A fire near Genora along the ND/WY line in Williams county is producing
moderate to dense smoke that extends N 59km into S Canada about 20km
across the boarder.
