CONUS:
No smoke is seen over the CONUS at this time.

Eastern Gulf of Mexico:
Yesterday's smoke off the western tip of Cuba is not visible at this time.

Yucatan:
Smoke seen last night off the western tip of the Yucatan is not visible
at this time.

West of Mexico/Guatemala:
Some faint haze/smoke can be seen in the Gulf of Tehuantepec.

Areas of smoke are analyzed using GOES-EAST and GOES-WEST Visible satellite imagery.

Only a general description of areas of smoke or significant smoke plumes will be analyzed.

A quantitative assessment of the density/amount of particulate or the vertical distribution is not included.

Widespread cloudiness may prevent the detection of smoke even from significant fires.
