DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

California and Oregon: A bunch of fires in Monterey county of central California are producing moderately dense plumes of smoke moving to East SE to the Pacific and has covered northern half of the county. Several fires in Merced, Mariposa, Toulumne, Fresno, and Mono counties of central California are producing thin to moderately dense plumes of smoke moving to Southeast. A fire in Sacramento county is producing a moderately dense plume of smoke that is fanning out to the north and has covered most portion of Sacramento county. A bunch of small fires around the four-corner area of Glenn, Butte, Colusa, and Sutter counties are producing thin to moderately dense plumes of smoke moving to the south. A fire on the top of Butte county and a fire in southeastern corner of Siskiyou county are producing moderately dense plumes of narrow smoke moving to the south. A fire in southern Klamath county of southern Oregon is producing thin to a moderately dense plume of smoke moving southward to north Siskiyou county of California. Kansas: A lot of agricultural fires in central of southern Kansas are producing puffs of thin to moderately dense plumes of smoke moving southeastward. Arizona: Fires in southern Coconino county of central Arizona are producing moderately dense plumes of smoke moving to the east.
