DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0300Z November 13, 2006
Louisiana: Clusters of fires detected across the south central portion of Louisiana were responsible for relatively small patches of mainly thin smoke which generally spread in a westward direction. Arizona: A couple of fires in southern Apache County of eastern Arizona were emitting thin to moderately dense smoke plumes which began to move more in a southerly direction during the late afternoon after moving eastward earlier in the day.
