DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0212Z December 10, 2006

Arizona and Mexico:
A fire in central Apache county of western Arizona is producing a thin
plume of smoke that is moving westward across the Arizona-New Mexico
border into western New Mexico. A fire in northern Mexico near US border
is produicng a thin plume of smoke that is moving north NW and is reaching
the US border.

Arkansas:
A fire in western Perry county is producing a very thick smoke that is
moving northward across eastern Yell county into southeastern Pupe county.

Tennessee:
A fire in Shelby county of southwestern Tennessee is producing puffs of
thin black smoke plumes that are moving northeasterly. A fire in Grundy
county is producing a thin plume of smoe that is moving northeast across
northern Sequatchie county.

Alabama:
A bunch fires on the Clarke-Monroe county border are producing thin to
moderately dense plumes of smoke that are moving westerly into central
Washington county. A fire in northeastern Clarke county is producing
thin to moderately dense plumes of smoke that is moving westerly into
central Clarke county. A fire on the Pandolph-Clay county border is
producing a thin plume of smoke that is moving northward along the border.

Georgia:
A fire in Screyen county of western Georgia is producing a moderately
dense plume of smoke that is moving southward and is influence local
area. A fire in Treutlen county is producng a thin to moderately dnese
plume of southwesterly smoke. A fire in Wilcox county is producing a
thin to moderately dense plume of smoke that is moving southwestward
to the county border. A fire in western Crawford county is porducing
a moderately dnese plume of smoke that is moving wsterly along the
Upson-Taylor county border and influencing locally. A fire in Floyd
county is producing a thin to moderately dense plume of northerly smoke.
