DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1815Z February 11, 2007

Southeast:
A plume of thin smoke from a fire in Barnwell county South Carolina is
drifting to the northeast. Numerous fires were seen around Lake Okeechobee
in Florida, mainly to the south. Several small plumes of thin smoke were
seen from these blazes and they were drifting to the southwest. A fire
along the Okaloosa/Santa Rosa county border in the Florida Panhandle has
begun to produce thick smoke that is drifting moving to the southwest and
just reaching the coast. A fire in Muskogee county Georgia has a small
plume of thin smoke that is just beginning and is drifting to the south.
