DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0143Z February 13, 2007

California:
A bunch of fires south of Salton Sea in Imperial county of southern
California are producing thin to moderately plumes puffs of smoke pulmes
that are moving eastward.

Mexico:
A dust storm in northern Mexico near the intersection between New Mexico
and Texas is moving southeastward close to the Texas-Mexico border. A
fire in cetnral Mexico is porducing a thin plume of smoke that is moving
to the east.

Alabama, Panhandle of Florida and Georgia:
A bunch of fires near Alabama-Florida boundary are producing thin
to moderately dense plumes of smoke that are moving to the north or
northeast. The smoke plumes are now influencing Escambia, Santa Rosa,
and Walton in Panhandle of Florida, and Escambia, Conecuh, and Monrce
in Alabama. Several fires in Chatta Hoo-Chee county of western Georgia
are producing moderately dense plumes of smoke that are moving northward
into west of central Talbolt county in Georgia.
