DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0145Z March 15, 2007

South Carolina and Tennessee:
A fire along the Union-Laurens county boundary in South Carolina is
producing a moderately dense plume of smoke that is moving northeastward
across central Union county into northwestern corner of Lester county of
South Carolina. A fire along the Unicoi-Washington county boundary(located
on Appalachian Mountains) in Tennessee is producing a moderately dense
plume of smoke that is moving to the northeast across the state borders
of Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia into southern Virginia and
northwestern corner of North Carolina.

Arizona:
A fire in Prescott National Forest in Yavapai county of Arizona is
producing a thin to moderately dense plume of smoke that is moving
westward and reaching to the southern and eastern Yavapai county boundary.
