DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Oregon: A cluster of fires along the southwest coast of Oregon are producing moderately dense to dense smoke that is moving north along the coast and slightly to the east. Kansas: A significant amount of fires in Kansas are producing light smoke that is moving to the south southwest. Most were only two hour plumes of light smoke. Oklahoma/Texas: In southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas there are a few fires producing dense smoke that is moving to the northeast. The most significant fires are found in Le Flore county, Oklahoma and Fannin county, Texas. In central Texas there are also several smaller fires that are producing light smoke that is moving to the northeast. Mississippi/Alabama: Throughout eastern Mississippi and southern Alabama there are quite a few fires that are producing light smoke but have lengthy smoke plumes moving to the south. Banks
