DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Central Plains/ Upper Mississippi Valley: Dispersed smoke from the fire on the Minnesota Ontario border can be seen from northeast Kansas/southeast Nebraska northeastward though Iowa into Wisconsin. Southeast: Dispersed smoke covers much of the northeast quarter of the Gulf of Mexico except the northeast corner. This smoke continues east southeastward across the southern half of Florida into the Bahamas. A smoke plume from the actual fire is not visible yet at this hour. ALS
