DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1545Z June 4, 2007

Florida/Surrounding Waters:
A large wide area of thin smoke and haze, possibly remnants of the smoke
ffom the fires in southeast Georgia, extends from the eastern Gulf of
Mexico, across southern Florida into the Atlantic Ocean just off the
southeast coast of the the U.S.

Canada/Northern US Great Plains:
Several small smoke plumes over northern Saskatchewan are visible
just west of Reindeer Lake.  Thin smoke from fire emissions occurring
yesterday, currently extend southeastward through Alberta into southern
Saskatchewan into extreme northern North Dakota.  In addition, a large
region of this smoke or haze covers the mid-Missouri Valley including
much of Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa.

Mexico:
No significant smoke plumes are observed at this time.
