Central United States: An area of thin smoke and haze from the fires in the Lower Mississippi Valley extends northward through Missouri/Iowa to southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Central Canada: Light and moderately dense smoke from the fires north and west of Lake Claire in Woods Buffalo National Park in NE Alberta drifted southward over Alberta then eastward to southern Saskatchewan. Quebec/Ontario: Fires in east-central Quebec caused a plume of heavy smoke over southern Quebec and southeast Ontario. Thinner smoke spread to Michigan and the Lower Great Lakes. Brown
