DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Nevada/Arizona/Utah/New Mexico/Colorado: The residual smoke from the large fires in Santa Barbara county of southern California are now moderately dense to locally dense and has covered a horizontal area along the Utah-Arizona state border from southern Nevada into northwestern New Mexico and southwestern Colorado. Idaho/Montana/Dakotas/Alberta/Saskatchewan/Manitoba: Numerous persistent fires in Idaho and Montana are still burning and producing smoke which has covered has covered probably Idaho, Montana, southern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Dakotas. Due to weather clouds, the exact range of the smoke cannot be told.
