DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1540Z September 07, 2007

California/Nevada:
The fire in Plumas National Forest near Kettle Rock Mt. in northern Plumas
county of California is still producing locally dense plume of smoke this
morning that is moving westerly then easterly across the Caliornia-Nevada
border in Lassen county into western Nevada. The residual smoke from
yesterday's burning of this fire is reaching eastern Nevada.
