DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1530Z September 11, 2007

Pacific Northwest:
The fires in central Idaho are still producing plumes of smoke that
extend across southern Montana into western South Dakota.

California/Utah/Nevada:
The fire in Plumas National Forest of Plumas county of northern California
is producing a plume of smoke that stretches across northern California,
northern Nevada and thins out across northern Utah and southwest Wyoming.

Alaska:
Weather clouds are obscuring any smoke plumes that may exist in Alaska
this morning.
