DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1602Z OCTOBER 10, 2007
Due to frontal clouds in the Pacific Northwest, no smoke can be seen.
A similar situation in the northern Plains has low clouds shrouding
any detection of smoke. A front has moved through across the eastern
seaboard and significant fires can be seen.
