THROUGH 1500Z SEPTEMBER 7, 2008
California: In eastern Fresno County a fire is emitting light to moderately dense smoke. The smoke begins traveling west covering much of the county but then veers to the north and west passing through Medera, Mariposa, Tuolumne, and Mono counties before entering into Mineral and Lyon counties in Nevada. In northern California, the Siskiyou/Blue 2 Complex and Panther Fire continue to emit light to moderately dense smoke which can be seen extending over 500km to the east. The smoke is affecting almost all of southern Oregon, the northwestern area of Nevada and the southwest corner of Idaho. Oregon: The Rattle Fire and the Lonesome complex continue to generate light smoke which is fanning out to the west. -Salemi
