DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0245Z NOVEMBER 08, 2008

Arizona:
A wildfire in south central Coconino county (NW of Flagstaff/Kaibab NF)
is producing a thin to moderately dense plume of smoke SW into Yavapai
county.  In W Coconino county a fire is producing light smoke west into
Mohave county.

Oklahoma:
Numerous fires are burning across the state producing mostly light smoke.
A fire in E Seminole county is producing light smoke E into Pittsburg and
Hughes counties. In S Hughes county a fire is emitting light smoke E into
Atoka, Pittsburg and Pushmataha counties.  In SE Okfuskee county a fire
is emitting light smoke E into Pittsburg, McIntosh and Hughes counties.
In N Latimer county a fire is producing light smoke E into LeFlore county
Oklahoma and Scott county Arkansas.  Numerous other fires across the
state are producing small light plumes of smoke moving E.

Louisiana:
Two fires burning in central and western Cameron county are producing
light plumes of smoke that extend a good distance into the Gulf of Mexico.

South Carolina/Georgia:
A fire in central Ware county Georgia is emitting a light plume of smoke
NE into Pierce and Wayne counties.  In N Aiken county South Carolina a
fire is emitting a light plume of smoke NE into Richland and Lexington
counties.

Arkansas:
Numerous fires are burning in the southern Mississippi Valley/Red River
Valley (mostly in E Arkansas) producing mostly light smoke moving east
into parts of N Mississippi and SE Missouri.
