DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Eastern Texas/Louisiana: At least a dozen fires with smoke plumes visible in satellite imagery were analyzed over eastern Texas and across the southern half of Louisiana. Most of the smoke plumes were of relatively thin density and spread to the north during the afternoon. California: Thin to moderately dense smoke plumes were visible moving to the south from fires in northeastern Trinity, south central Plumas, and southeastern Sierra counties of northern California. JS
