DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

East Coast and northern Gulf of Mexico: An area of thin remnant smoke from the large number of fires in the Southeast yesterday could be seen slowly drifting eastward off the coast of the Carolinas and Georgia. Another area of remnant smoke was detected over the extreme northeast portion of the Gulf of Mexico moving to the west from near Cedar Key toward Franklin and Gulf counties in Florida. An area of possible remnant smoke, perhaps mixed with haze, was seen extending east into the Atlantic from New Jersey and Delaware. Ruminski THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED.
