DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

South-Central US: Late this evening, a light haze could be seen on vis imagery in Louisiana, northeast Texas, Arkansas, and eastern Oklahoma. The haze was drifting to the north. Alberta/Manitoba: Residual smoke from earlier, including light to moderately dense smoke, is located in the central provinces of Alberta and Manitoba. More information on additional areas of smoke associated with these fires and others can be found at the locations listed below. THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
