DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 2315Z November 20, 2009
Blowing dust continues to be seen across portions of northwest Nevada through the afternoon in the vicinity of Pyramid Lake and Yerington and moving to the northeast. An additionsl plume of blowing dust was seen over southern California late this afternoon over northwest Kern county near the Kings county border. This plume was moving to the east-northeast. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
