Currently: Southern California: An area of blowing dust can be moving east NE from western San Bernardino and Riverside counties. The dust is mostly blowing into San Bernardino. The blowing dust is light to moderate in density. In western/south central San Diego county an area of blowing dust can be seen moving east NE across northern sections of the county and moving east across south sections of the county. Wind speeds across the area are 10-15 kts. New Mexico: A potential wildfire in central Grant county (Gila Wilderness area) in SW New Mexico is producing light to moderately dense smoke moving northeast into Sierra, Socorro and Catron counties. This fire was visible yesterday and was also producing smoke. From Earlier Today: North Central US/Southern Canada: A very large area of thin density aerosol was still visible this afternoon through southern Canada from south central Quebec Province to southern Ontario Province. The aerosol also appeared to enter the far northern portion of North Dakota, Minnesota, and tMichigan as well as Lake Superior. This aerosol is likely composed at least partly of remnant smoke from fires the past few days in central Saskatchewan and Manitoba. JKibler THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED.
