DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Canada: Moderately dense to dense smoke extends from central Northwest Territories near the Great Slave Lake, southeast through eastern Saskatchewan, Manitoba and entering the US over North Dakota and Minnesota. This smoke is from the numerous fires throughout northern Saskatchewan and the central Northwest Territories. US East Coast: The central-east coast of the US is covered by an aerosol of unknown composition which is moving to the east. States where this aerosol can be seen include: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Virgina, Maryland, Kentucky and Ohio. -Salemi THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
