DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Central/Northern California: Wildfires that have been burning south of Lake Tahoe in Yosemite National Park for the past several weeks have led to a large area of mostly light smoke through central California and a separate plume moving into portions of Northern California. Embedded moderate to heavy smoke can also be observed closer to the fire locations this evening. Southwestern Idaho: The large wildfire that continues to burn in southwestern Idaho is creating a large area of moderately dense smoke moving westward near the Idaho/Nevada border. Lighter smoke can also be seen emanating from this fire extending southward into southern Nevada and northern Arizona. Belge THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED.
