DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Gulf of Mexico: A large area of smoke continues to persist across much of the Gulf of Mexico this this evening. Portions of moderate were mainly seen along the frontal boundary that moved off the Texas coast throughout the day. This smoke continues to be from the numerous fires burning throughout Central America as well as very large fires that have been burning over northern Mexico recently. Liddick THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
