Southwest Gulf of Mexico: An area of light smoke was seen extending from the southwest Bay of Campeche to the east northeast top an area in the south central Gulf north of the Yucatan. This is likely smoke from agricultural fires burning in Mexico and may have also mixed with other aerosols. Blowing Dust/Sand: Western Gulf of Mexico: An area of remnant dust from yesterday's dust storm in West Texas was still observed lingering off the southeast Texas coast in the western Gulf of Mexico this evening. It appears to have lost any additional push to the south or east.
