SMOKE: US Pacific NW: An influx of light to moderate density smoke, originating from burning in Siberia, China, and Korea, is covering much of the US Pacific Northwest region this evening. Multiple continuous ribbons of remnant smoke are observed over Washington, Oregon, northern California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas. Central US/Canada: Still valid from earlier: A large area of light-density smoke is visible in a similar pattern as yesterday, extending from the Canadian/US border down through the central plains and to the Gulf Coast of Texas. Areas affected include: Manitoba, Ontario, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. This smoke originated from the agricultural burns that have been taking place the last few days around the Canadian/US border.
