SEND EMAIL RESPONSES TO: SSDFireTeam@noaa.gov. SMOKE: British Columbia... Four clusters of wildfires over the west-central part of the province are spreading thin density plumes to the southeast. A small cluster of wildfires over the south-central part of the province is emitting thin locally moderate plumes slowly to the south. Washington... A thin and moderate density plume is slowly spreading in various directions close to a wildfire cluster in the north-central part of the state. Oregon/California... Several wildfires over southwestern Oregon and northern California are emitting thin density plumes generally to the south along the coast and over the northern Sacramento Valley. Intermountain West.... Several small thin density plumes are found near wildfires over southern Idaho, northeastern Nevada, and northeastern Utah. Konon THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS PRIMARILY INTENDED TO DESCRIBE SIGNIFICANT AREAS OF SMOKE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES AND SMOKE WHICH HAS BECOME DETACHED FROM THE FIRES AND DRIFTED SOME DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE SOURCE FIRE. TYPICALLY OVER THE COURSE OF ONE OR MORE DAYS. AREAS OF BLOWING DUST ARE ALSO DESCRIBED.
