Prior to the official switch from Meteosat-10 to Meteosat-11, EUMETSAT and NOAA will conduct a NOAA Domestic Satellite (DOMSAT) broadcast test of Meteosat-11 HRIT data for users in the United States on January 17, 2018, from 1400 UTC to 1700 UTC. At the end of the 15 minute 1345 UTC data cycle on January 17, the labeling of the Meteosat images will change from "MSG3" to "MSG4" to reflect the temporary test broadcast of Meteosat-11 HRIT data through NOAA DOMSAT.
