EUMETCast requirements: "EUMETSAT Data Channel 8" (PID 300 Ku-band and C-band Africa, PID 1922 C-band Americas, multicast address 224.223.222.31). The MODIS Chlorophyll Alpha filenames are of the type "A2009117.L3m_DAY_CHLO_4.bz2". Further details on the product are provided on the MODIS OceanColor Web site, see: http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/ All users with current access to the existing MODIS L2 products (Fire & DB Polar Winds) will be automatically activated to receive this product. All other users are requested to register via the User Service Helpdesk ops@eumetsat.int FUTURE EVENTS 30 June 2009 NOAA-19 ATOVS level 2 sounding products generated by EUMETSAT become operational. From this date onwards these products will be available in near real-time via EUMETCast-Europe and the GTS-RMDCN, and in offline mode via the EUMETSAT Archive. Users who already receive the Metop-A ATOVS level 2 sounding products via EUMETCast will have their accounts automatically activated to receive the corresponding NOAA-19 products. All other EUMETCast users wishing to receive the full suite of ATOVS products are requested to register via the EUMETSAT User Helpdesk.
