Full earth images, if any, will not be disseminated. METOP AND NOAA GLOBAL DATA SERVICE 30 June 2009 Dissemination of NOAA-18 data will be discontinued. 30 June 2009 NOAA-19 ATOVS level 2 sounding products generated by EUMETSAT become operational. From this date onwards these products will be available in near real-time via EUMETCast-Europe and the GTS-RMDCN, and in offline mode via the EUMETSAT Archive. Users who already receive the Metop-A ATOVS level 2 sounding products via EUMETCast will have their accounts automatically activated to receive the corresponding NOAA-19 products. All other EUMETCast users wishing to receive the full suite of ATOVS products are requested to register via the EUMETSAT User Helpdesk. The BUFR Edition 4 parameter in the header shall be updated. The meteorological products themselves shall not be impacted by this change. Example data sets shall be made available on the EUMETSAT web pages by 2 July 2009.
