On October 27, 2009, GeoEye provided the following status update: “We have scheduled a recovery plan for OrbView-2 starting this Thursday (10/29) or Friday (10/30). We hope to have the final implementation completed by November 11th, but will keep you posted.” (GeoEye’s attempt to restore SeaWiFS imaging on October 8, 2009 was not successful.)
