STAR scientists are working to find a substitute for AMSU-A channel 7 on Metop-B for ATOVS application and they are making an assessment for a possible solution to the anomaly. Currently, no good retrievals are being made from the ATOVS using the Metop-B data. Users are recommended to use the available products with caution.
