Details/Specifics of Change:

A GOES-15 (GOES-West) North/South Station Keeping maneuver will be
performed on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 1800 UTC. The backup date
for this
maneuver is Thursday, August 3, 2017.  If NWS Regions have any
operational
concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM at (301) 683-1500 at least
6 hours
prior to the maneuver time.

PLEASE NOTE: the scheduled GOES-13 (GOES-East) Full Disk scan period to
support the primary GOES-15 (GOES-West) outage during the maneuver.

On August 1, 2017 the following schedule will be employed to support
maneuver operations:
GOES-15 (GOES-West) North/South Maneuver Schedule begins at 1800 UTC on
August 1, 2017.
1745 UTC through 1944 UTC: GOES-13 (GOES-East) Full Disk (30 minute)
Imaging.
1800 UTC through 1939 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) Imager and Sounder
Product
Outage.
1800 UTC through 1939 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) XRS and SXI Product
Outage.
1940 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) Routine XRS and SXI Operations Resume.
1940 UTC through 0051 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) INR (Image Navigation
Registration) Recovery Schedule.
0052 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West) Routine Imager and Sounder Scan
Operations
Resume.

Please assure GOES-13 SXI and XRS are the primary forecasting
instruments
during this time frame.
