Due to the forecast track for Hurricane IRMA the GEONETCast Americas
(GNC-A) service on IS-21 out of the Ellenwood Georgia (GA) Teleport may
be affected by the heavy rain and wind as the hurricane moves through
the state of GA. Although we don’t anticipate any issues it is
possible
there may be a degradation in service at times as the storm passes.
Teleport Engineers are prepared and ready for the storm and have taken
all necessary steps to minimize any effects. We will continue to
monitor
GNC-A systems and the storm and provide updates when needed. Thank you
for your patience in this matter.**
