A COMPARISON OF THE CURRENT CONVENTIONAL SATELLITE IMAGERY WITH THAT OF 24 HOURS AGO INDICATES LITTLE CHANGE, WHICH RESULTS IN A MET OF 3.5. MOST RECENT AMSU AND AMSR2 MICROWAVE IMAGES REVEAL A BANDING PATTERN, WHICH WAS ULTIMATELY USED TO FAVOR THE DT OF 3.5 BASED ON BANDING OF 9/10, BUT THERE WAS A HINT OF A POSSIBLE PINHOLE EYE IN THE 37GHZ AMSR2 IMAGE AT 2044Z.
