DETAILS OF ASH CLOUD: GOES-8 IMAGERY THROUGH 1345Z DOES NOT INDICATE THE
PRESENCE OF ASH BUT ASH MIGHT BE OBSCURED BY THE WEATHER CLOUDS IN THE
AREA. THE MOST RECENT REPORT OF ASH WAS AT 24/2001Z WITH A HEIGHT
ESTIMATE AT FL230. THE VOLCANO REMAINS IN AN ACTIVE STATE AND COULD
PRODUCE ASH AT ANY TIME.

TRAJECTORY: UPPER PATTERNS SUGGEST THAT ANY ASH BETWEEN THE SUMMIT AND
FL230 WOULD MOVE WEST NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 15 KNOTS.
