REMARKS: A PILOT REPORTED A NARROW PLUME OF ASH
BETWEEN FL060 AND FL080 MOVING TOWARDS THE WEST
NORTHWEST AT 1347Z.  ALTHOUGH NO ASH COULD BE
DETECTED AT 1402Z DUE TO THE HIGH SUN
ANGLE...EARLIER A PLUME WAS SEEN EXTENDING
APPROXIMATELY 65 NMI TO THE WEST NORTHWEST OF THE
VOLCANO.  THE MONTSERRAT VOLCANO OBSERVATORY
INDICATED THAT THE VOLCANO WAS FAIRLY QUIET AT THE
PRESENT TIME WITH ASH EMISSIONS REACHING ONLY A
COUPLE HUNDRED FEET ABOVE THE SUMMIT. ...TURK
