TWO ASH PLUMES. ONE ASH PLUME EXTENDS ABOUT 20
NMI TO THE WEST AT FL180. THE OTHER ASH PLUME
EXTENDS ABOUT 8 NMI TO THE SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT
FL240 BASED ON OBSERVATIONS FROM THE INSTITUTE
AND FROM MODEL WINDS. A STRONG HOTSPOT IS SEEN
AT THE SUMMIT ON MULTISPECTRAL IMAGERY. FORECAST
WINDS SUGGEST THE PLUME TO THE WEST WILL SLOWLY
BECOME MORE SOUTHWESTERLY. THE PLUME TO THE
SOUTHEAST MAY BE A RESULT OF STRONGER ACTIVITY AT
THE VOLCANO. ...BALDWIN
