DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1845Z January 27, 2006

New Jersey:
A short puff of black smoke from a bright hotspot near Sayreville in N
Middlesex county extended 17km to the SE and was about 4km wide.

Georgia:
A dense fan of smoke from fire from a fire along the Bryan/Liberty county
line just N of SR144 extends 23km to the W covering most of Bryan county.

Florida:
A plume of thin smoke from a fire at the Southern end of SR-361 in Dixie
county S of Jana.  The plume extends 144km W to near Cape St. Georgia. The
plume is about 30km wide.

A line of dense smoke from a fire on the central Franklin/Liberty state
line near Morgan Place extends WNW 27km to the Calhoun/Liberty county
line. The plume is about 14km wide.
