DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

US Southwest: Fires over central Nevada and northern Arizona have produced a joined plume of smoke that extends from the Lake Tahoe region of northern California across southern Nevada and northern Arizona into west central New Mexico. Canada: Fires continue south of Lake Athabasca in Northern Saskatchewan and in central Alberta that are producing a thick plume of smoke that extends southeast across eastern Saskatchewan and west central and southwest Manitoba. North central US: Thick smoke from southeast Saskatchewan and southwest Manitoba flows into North Dakota then into north central and northeast South Dakota where it then curves into southwest and central Minnesota.
