DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0200Z October 11, 2006

California:
A fire in northern Trinity county is producing a moderately dense plume
of smoke that is moving off to the west. Two fires in Siskiyou county
is producing a small area of thin to moderately dense smoke moving to
the west. A fire in northern Ventura county of southern California is
producing a moderately dense plume of smoke swirling around.

Oregon:
A fire in eastern Lane county is producing a moderately dense plume of
puff smoke moving easterly to the Pacific.

Washington:
Several fires in central Washington are producing thin to moderately
dense plumes of smoke moving mainly to the southeast.

British Columbia:
Two fires near Bowron Lake Prov. PK in central British Columbia of Canada
are producing moderately dense to dense narrow plumes of smoke moving
about 110 miles to the south. Another fire in southern British Columbia
is producing a moderately dense narrow plume of smoke moving southward
and almost reaching the US-Canada border.

Quebec:
A fire in Mistassini Prov. RES in Central Quebec of Canada is producing
a moderately dense plume of smoke that is moving southward.

Florida:
A fire in the east of Lake Okeechobee is producing a moderately dense
plume of smoke that is moving east to the Atlantic.
