DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0245Z November 11, 2006

Arizona/New Mexico:
A fire located in McKinley county of western New Mexico is producing a
moderately dense smoke plume that is moving directly to the south along
the New Mexico Arizona border.

On the very southern tip of Apache county, Arizona, there is a fire
producing dense smoke that is moving to the southwest. In northwestern
Arizona, there is a fire burning in Coconino National Forest that is
producing moderately dense smoke moving west.

California:
A fire in Tulare county of central California is producing a moderately
dense plume of smoke that was originally moving to the north, but has
has shifted and is moving to the east northeast.
