DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Southeastern US including Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina: Two fires in Cherokee and Calhoun counties of western Alabama were burning and producing thin to moderately dense plumes of smoke that were moving northward into southern Jackson county of northeastern Alabama. Two fires in Jasper and Putnam counties in central Georgia were producing thin to moderately dense plumes of smoke that were moving northwestward into DE Kalb and Walton counties respectively. Two fires in Aiken county of western South Carolina were producing thin to moderately dense plumes of smoke that were moving northwestward into Edgefield county.
