DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1545Z March 29, 2007
U.S.:
No significant smoke can be seen in GOES 12/11 morning and early afternoon
visible imagery. Although there is a small smoke producing fire burning
in Thomas county in south central Georgia. The fire is emitting light
smoke southeast into Brooks county.

- Only a general description of areas of smoke or significant smoke plumes will be analyzed.
- A quantitative assessment of the density/amount of particulate or the vertical distribution is not included.
- Widespread cloudiness may prevent the detection of smoke even from significant fires.
