DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0215Z April 7, 2007


Florida:
Just west of Lake Okeechobee there is a large fire producing moderately
dense smoke that is extending to the east all the way to the Atlantic
Ocean.

In northeast Florida there are several fires producing light to moderately
dense smoke that is moving east.

Along Florida's panhandle there are 2 fires producing light smoke that
is moving south out over the Gulf of Mexico.

Georgia:
In central Georgia there are two significant fires that are producing
light to moderately dense smoke that is moving to the east, extending
nearly to the Georgia/South Carolina border.

Oregon:
In Harney county there is a fire producing dense to very dense smoke that
was originally moving to the north, but since the smoke has shifted to
an eastern direction.

California:
In Glenn county of northern California there is a fire that has been
producing moderately dense smoke all day, that has now extend all the
way to California's northern border.
